In this article, you will learn how to redirect visitors to your “Thank You” page or “Tripwire” page after they submit their name + email at the Opt-in Page.

Required: 

  • Remember to grab your “Thank You” page or “Tripwire” page link
  • You will need to go into your email marketing service and set your sign-up form to redirect to the “Thank You” page or “Tripwire” page after someone subscribes.

MailerLite

  1. Click to Edit the Sign-up Form
  2. Click Settings – Select Custom success page (Send subscribers to your URL instead of the standard success message.)
  3. At the REDIRECT URL, insert your “Thank You” page or “Tripwire” page link.
  4. Click the Next button and you’re done

MailChimp

  1. Within the Form Builder click the Forms and Response Emails drop-down menu. 
  2. Select Confirmation thank you page from the drop-down menu.
  3. In the Instead of showing this thank you page, send subscribers to another URL field to insert your “Thank You” page or “Tripwire” page link. 
  4. Click Save and you’re done. 

Convertkit

  1. In the Forms & Landing Pages tab, click into the form you want to edit. 
  2. Click on the gear icon in the right hand menu to open the settings. 
  3. Under When a visitor subscribes to a form select the option to Redirect to another page.
  4. Add the URL to your “Thank You” page or “Tripwire” page. 
  5. Click Save and you’re done.

GetDrip

  1. In the form editor, select Post-Signup from the tabs.
  2. Paste your “Thank You” page or “Tripwire” page link into the Custom Post-Submission Page box. 
  3. Click Save and you’re done. 

GetResponse

  1. In the form editor, select the gear icon in the top right. 
  2. Scroll down to the Choose thank-you page box and select Custom.
  3. Add your “Thank You” page or “Tripwire” page URL into the box. 
  4. Click Save which will save your changes and close the pop up window. Then click Save and Publish in the top right and you’re done. 

ActiveCampaign

  1. Select Forms from the left hand menu and click on edit next to the form you want to edit. 
  2. In the form editor click on the Options tab in the right hand menu. 
  3. In the On Submit box, select Open URL and add your “Thank You” page or “Tripwire” page link.
  4. Click Integrate on the top right and then Save and Exit and you’re done.
